NELSPRUIT – Members of the SAPS in Louw’s Creek made a breakthrough as two suspects, aged 51 and 63 have been arrested in connection with the recent incident where the bodies of two men were recovered in the mountain at Louw’s Creek outside Nelspruit on 20 September 2024. Investigations by the Police revealed that one of the victims, Jabulani Khoza showed some signs of foul play hence a murder case was registered meanwhile, with regard to the body of the other male, an inquest is being probed. The diligent work of SAPS investigators has led to the apprehension of these two male suspects this morning, Friday 04 October 2024. Both suspects are facing a charge of murder and are expected to appear in Court on Monday, 07 October 2024 facing a murder charge. The SAPS remains committed to ensuring that justice is served and perpetrators of crime are brought to book hence this breakthrough was achieved. The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi, has expressed his appreciation for the commitment and expertise displayed by the SAPS team in solving this crime. “We commend our dedicated members for their professionalism and thorough skills in handling this case. Their dedication and hard work are a testament to the high standards of the SAPS in the province. We encourage members of the community to continue working with the police in the fight against crime.
