Kaizer Chiefs are preparing for a squad shake-up, with several players facing uncertain futures ahead of next season.
Among those under the spotlight are Dillan Solomons and Gaston Sirino, both of whom are out of contract at the end of June.
Solomons has had a mixed season. After falling out of favour earlier in the campaign, he worked his way back into contention.
He had solid performances, especially in the CAF Confederation Cup. The right-back has made 19 appearances and scored once.
Sirino’s situation, however, looks far more uncertain.
The 35-year-old arrived at Naturena in 2024 with high expectations following his success at Mamelodi Sundowns.
But injuries and inconsistent form have limited his impact.
This season, he has managed just one goal and two assists in 23 appearances — numbers that fall short for a player of his perceived quality.
As a result, Sirino is increasingly likely to be among the players shown the exit door.
Other players who could also leave include George Matlou, Fiacre Ntwari, Khanyisa Mayo and Ashley Du Preez, as Kaizer Chiefs look to rebuild.
Amakhosi will next face Orbit College FC in a Betway Premiership clash on Monday.
After a difficult run of four straight defeats, Chiefs responded with two wins before the international break.
Another victory could see them climb as high as third on the log table.
