Two Dead, One Injured in Another Mitchell’s Plain Shooting
Two young men lost their lives and another was injured during a shooting in Mitchell’s Plain on Friday night. The incident happened around 8:10 PM on San Francisco Street in the Portlands area.
The victims, aged 21 and 22, were shot multiple times in the upper body and head. Both were declared dead at the scene. A 26-year-old man was also shot and wounded but survived. Another 21-year-old present at the scene was not harmed.
This latest attack adds to a growing number of shootings in the area over the past week, where several lives have been lost and others left injured.
Authorities say the motive behind the attack is still unknown, and investigations are ongoing. The suspects fled the scene and have yet to be apprehended.
The recent wave of violence has prompted additional police deployment in an effort to curb gang-related activity in the area.
