Following another hugely successful edition that brought together thousands of music lovers from across the country, multiple award-winning South African DJ, entrepreneur and music producer Oskido is excited to announce the festival is back!

And bigger than ever before, BIG DAY OUT 2026 promises more music, more vibes and more unforgettable moments. And after listening to the overwhelming feedback from festivalgoers, Oskido is introducing a major first for the festival.

You asked and yes We listened – BIG DAY OUT 2026 will feature TWO stages this year.

The addition of a second stage will allow for an even bigger lineup, more performances and a wider celebration of South Africa’s diverse musical landscape, spanning kwaito, house, amapiano, hip hop and more.

Set in the heart of Johannesburg, on the picturesque grounds of Huddle Park in Linksfield, BIG DAY OUT has become one of SA’s most anticipated lifestyle events, blending music, food, fashion and culture into a unique experience that celebrates both heritage and contemporary creativity.

Building on the success of previous years, Big Day Out attendees can once again expect a vibrant fusion of legendary artists, today’s biggest stars and exciting new talent, paired with a culinary offering as rich and diverse as the sounds on stage.

Festivalgoers can expect an immersive lifestyle experience complete with curated food zone, fun activations and festival photo ops, premium hospitality offerings and unforgettable performances from some of South Africa’s most celebrated artists.

Over the past two years, thousands have relived the golden era of kwaito while embracing the sounds shaping South Africa’s future, BIG DAY OUT 2026 will continue to honour the country’s musical legacy while creating new memories for a new generation.
