‘LINDIWE SISULU NEEDS TO READ THE ROOM’
The Megacy took to social media to call out politician Lindiwe Sisulu for ‘stealing the spotlight’ at Kiernan “AKA” Forbes’ memorial service when she sat between grieving parents Lynn and Tony Forbes.
Fans of the rapper were curious to know why the minister didn’t give the rapper’s parents space to grief and wanted to find out if she’s related to the Forbes family.
Sisulu began to trend after a tweep @bogatsulemie tweeted: “AKA’s mother can’t even comfort an emotional dad because Gogo Lindiwe Sisulu is hogging the front row between family.”
This was after AKA’s father Tony Forbes broke down in tears and wasn’t comforted by Sisulu who sat next to him.
@Juadivivem:
“She didn’t even flinch at the father busy breaking down in pain.”
The minister was one of the hundreds of industry friends, family, and fans, who gathered at a packed Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Friday, 17 February to remember the hip-hop star, who will be buried on Saturday, 18 February.

MORE REACTIONS TO HER SITTING BETWEEN LYNN AND TONY FORBES
@kay_mahapa:
“Is that Lindiwe Sisulu in between AKA’s grieving parents?! Walter & Albertina Sisulu we appreciate your contribution to our freedom but your offspring has gone too far.”
@MapuleR1:
“I have so much respect for other offsprings of the Sisulus they have done well and contributed to our society. I don’t have time for Lindiwe she is different from the lot. Zwelakhe, Maxwell, and others are well renowned.”
@ktolom:
“Exactly what I was complaining about, why on earth would she sit between the parents?”
@Bonginkosi1892:
“Lindiwe is doing exactly what ANC is doing to us as citizens of this country.”
@Saint_Pablo31:
“What is the ANC even doing there? They are the reason we are in this mess in the first place.”
