THEUNISSEN – The Police in Theunissen arrested three male suspects after a 26-year-old male was fatally stabbed on Tuesday 17 December 2024, at about 03:30 in Masilo, Theunissen. The police received a complaint of an unknown male who was lying on the street. Upon arrival, they found the deceased lying on his back with multiple stab wounds. He was declared dead on the scene. Preliminary investigations were conducted. Three suspects were subsequently arrested. Neo Moholoholo (18), Mpho Mabesa (20), and Mpho Leaba (23) were charged with murder. They appeared in the Theunissen Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 19 December 2024. The case was postponed to 9 January 2025 for bail application. They are remanded in custody. Ends
