A South African journalist and his partner, missing for over two months, have been found dead with their bodies in an advanced state of decomposition.
Authorities discovered human remains believed to be those of Sibusiso Aserie Ndlovu, founder of Capital Live radio in Pretoria, and his partner Zodwa Precious Mdhluli. While DNA tests are still pending, forensic teams have identified the remains as the missing couple.
Five suspects have been arrested in connection with the case. Reports indicate they were found in possession of stolen property, including furniture, appliances, and car parts belonging to the couple. Investigators believe the victims were murdered and their bodies abandoned in a remote bush area in Limpopo province.
Media and journalist organizations expressed deep sorrow and shock over the tragedy. “We had hoped they would still be found alive,” said one representative, extending condolences to the victims’ families.
