24 February 2025 – Tickets to Bafana Bafana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Lesotho at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane next month have gone on sale.
Coach Hugo Broos’ charges host their COSAFA neighbours in the Limpopo province on Human Rights Day, Friday, 21 March 2025, and then fly to Benin by charter to face the West Africans in the second qualifier a few days later. The South African Football Association (SAFA) can confirm that kick off to the match is at 18h00.
“This is an important year for Bafana Bafana as we have the resumption of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup next month, and we are participating in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco at the end of the year. Bafana Bafana have not played in Limpopo in a very long time, and it will special to kick off the year in Polokwane. We want Peter Mokaba Stadium to be buzzing on the day, so we urge the fans to get their tickets and ensure a superb atmosphere inside the stadium,” SAFA President Dr Danny Jordaan said.
Tickets are on sale at TicketPro and they cost R70.00 for adults and R40.00 for children under the age of 12. The game will be broadcast live on SABC.
Access to the corporate/business 22-Seater Suite can be arranged with tsholot@polokwane.gov.za while SAFA, Southern Sun and Limpopo Tourism will release weekend accommodation packages this week.
