Three well-known drug dealers removed from the streets of Thabong

FREE STATE – On 21 March 2024 Members of Welkom Anti-Gang Unit were busy with crime combating duties in 300 section of Thabong when they saw two African male persons in the street. They stopped the Police van and requested to search them, from this 23-year-old alleged drug dealer. CAT drugs and cash that amounts to R382 were seized. He was arrested for Possession of drugs.

Members proceeded to a house in Uxolo Street and a 36-year-old man was found in possession of drugs: four Crysyal meth satchets, one half and one quarter Mandrax tablets with cash that amounts to R140.

Members also visited a house in Molai Street, Thabong where a 36-year-old male person was found in possession of three quarters, one half Mandrax tablets with cash that amounts to R80. The suspects will appear on the 25 March 2024 in Welkom Magistrate Court.
