Three suspects remanded in custody for possession of firearms and drugs

DURBAN – Police in KwaZulu-Natal conducted a multi-disciplinary operation at Inyoni on 25 July 2024 that yielded positive results when four suspects were arrested for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition as well as drugs.

Police proceeded to Inyoni where they arrested four suspects aged 61, 39, 36 and 35 years.

Police recovered three pistols and ammunition, 24 crystal meth, 380 red and white heroine capsules and 13 mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R20 000.

The suspects appeared before Nyoni Magistrates Court on 26 July 2024. Three were remanded in custody and they will appear before court 1 August 2024.
