Media Statement SASOLBURG – Three suspects aged between 34 and 38 were arrested for possession of essential infrastructure tempering implements. On Monday, 28 October 2024, at about 00:30, the Fezile Dabi Infrastructure Intervention Team, Sasolburg CPF and private security companies were activated after three unknown males were spotted roaming the streets of Sasolburg. The teams swiftly rushed to the said street and noticed three unknown males carrying a bag pack, garden spades, garden pick, saw and gloves and while searching the suspects the police found an unlicensed firearm and a knife in the possession of one of the suspects. The unlicensed firearm and ammunition, together with the essential infrastructure tempering implements, were confiscated. The three suspects will appear before the Sasolburg Magistrate Court soon.
