Three suspects appear in court

PRETORIA – The three suspects aged 17, the other two, 29 will be making their first appearance in the Johannesburg Magistrates’court this morning, 18 April 2024 facing charges including contract killing, extortion and unlawful dealing in illegal firearms committed over the past four years, some as recent as earlier this month in Sophiatown.

The suspects are reported to be linked to multiple murders and conduct their activities from an estanlishment in Side Road in Chrisville.

These suspects were arrested during a shootout with an integrated multi-disciplinary law enforcement team in Chrisville, Booysens on Tuesday, 16 April 2024 and three others were fatally wounded.
