The Wife and Bongo Maffin fans took to social media on Monday, 20 March to drag musician and actor Stoan Seate, who plays Sefako in the Showmax telenovela.

The TV presenter Stoan Seate, who plays Naledi Montho’s (Gaisang Noge) husband Sefako in the third season of the Showmax hit telenovela got cooked on Twitter by viewers of The Wife and fans of Bongo Maffin music group
The trolling began after the actor-musician tweeted ‘F*CK EFF’ which didn’t sit well with South Africans, who supported the national shutdown.

The TV personality Stoan Seate admitted in an interview with Sunday World that he never auditioned for his role in The Wife.

The Wife actor Stoan Seate, who began his music career as a member of Bongo Maffin began trending after EFF member of parliament Naledi Chirwa dragged him following his “F*CK EFF” comment.
Chirwa responded to Seate’s “F*ck EFF” tweet by saying: “A little tender in the North West makes you swear at us for no reason? Fuck you le wena Stoan. Ebile you can’t act”.
Another tweep @LedwabaThabangt added that the musician Seate also can’t rap or sing or whatever he calls it.
