Media Statement UPINGTON – The District Commissioner of ZF Mgcawu, Major General Monica Sebili, together with Employee Health and Wellness office, hosted the annual Christmas Carols programme on Wednesday, 18 December 2024. The event was attended by members from stations, units, Community Policing Forum, Fearless Child NGO, and the Moral Regeneration Movement in the ZFM District. The SAPS gathered to celebrate, sing, and pray for safety and security during the holiday season. In her speech Major General Sebili acknowledged the contribution by members towards the organization throughout the year. She wished the employees of SAPS and their families, the CPF, and the community at large a blessed Christmas and prosperous 2025. She encouraged those who will be working during the festive season to be vigilant and ensure that members of the community are safe and feel safe during the holiday season. General Sebili added that Christmas is time for caring, time for giving, and time for sharing when she donated dignity packs to the Fearless Child organisation and gifted the kids with the Christmas gifts.
