Teni steps into a bold new era with highly anticipated EP ‘The Wellness Package’
Award-winning Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entertainer Teni has officially dropped her highly anticipated new EP, The Wellness Package on Friday.
Marking an intentional new milestone in her career, the project reflects a journey of healing, self-discovery, and finding joy in everyday life.
The release also serves as the launchpad for an exciting global partnership between Teni and global media company Gamma.
“Teni is a remarkable artist with a unique ability to connect with audiences around the world,” stated Larry Jackson, Founder and CEO of Gamma.
Sipho Dlamini, President of Gamma Africa, added that Teni continues to “raise the bar for African music and culture”.
Vice President of Gamma Africa, Larry Gaaga, shared his excitement, stating that the project truly reflects who Teni is today.
Musically, the 7-track EP fuses Teni’s infectious energy and vibrant storytelling with several heavy-hitting collaborations: “Zion” featuring Afrobeats icon Olamide, “Wuru Maya” featuring vocal powerhouse Chike and “Wise” featuring highlife band The Cavemen.
The rollout follows the massive success of the pre-release single “Zion,” which has already surpassed 20 million streams, hit No. 1 on YouTube Nigeria, and inspired over 500,000 user-generated videos on TikTok.
Breaking away from a traditional music rollout, Teni is extending The Wellness Package into real-world community events.
The campaign features:Cinematic Teasers: Visual shorts introducing the project’s core themes, The Wellness Package Run Club: A community initiative promoting movement and health, Treasure Hunt: An interactive fan experience where exclusive wellness boxes are hidden across locations, including a highly publicised activation at Unilag and Intimate Listening Sessions: Curated spaces designed to make fans feel like they are stepping directly into Teni’s personal world.
Rooted in community, love, and laughter, this project establishes a foundational milestone for the music star following global appearances at Coachella, London’s O2 Arena, and Madison Square Garden.
