]]> CAPE TOWN — Residents in the Western Cape are grappling with yet another bout of severe weather, as relentless rain, strong winds, and flooding continue to wreak havoc across the region.

 

Communities such as Lotus, Imizamo Yethu, Langa, and Bonteheuwel have been particularly hard hit, with waterlogged streets, damaged homes, and uprooted trees reported in several areas.

 

The ongoing cold front has left many frustrated and anxious, especially as forecasts predict more heavy downpours through Friday.
