The fire broke out around 3am while the family was asleep in their four-roomed shack. Flames quickly engulfed the structure, trapping the occupants inside.
Only one person, a 7-year-old girl, managed to escape. She sustained severe burn wounds and is currently fighting for her life.
When emergency services arrived, the fire had already consumed most of the home. Despite their efforts, six family members were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
