Breaking News: Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe, the 28-year-old son of former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe, has been arrested following an alleged shooting at his Hyde Park residence in Gauteng, South Africa.

According to police reports, officers responded after private security alerted authorities about gunfire on Thursday afternoon. A 23-year-old gardener was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Authorities recovered a cartridge at the scene and are continuing their search for the firearm.

Police say Mugabe and a 24-year-old suspect were taken into custody after allegedly refusing officers access to the property. The arrest reportedly adds to ongoing legal issues linked to Mugabe in both South Africa and Zimbabwe, including allegations related to assault and firearms offences.

Memorial Service for DJ Warras Underway
