Spain briefly narrowed the gap, but South Africa extended their lead with tries from Mfundo Ndhlovu and Ricardo Duartee.

In the women’s final, the Black Ferns dominated Australia 31-7. New Zealand took control early with tries from Jorja Miller and Michaela Brake. Despite Australia responding through Mackenzie Davis, the Kiwis sealed the match with further tries from Risi Pouri-Lane, Mahina Paul, and Sarah Hirini.

The tournament was held at Dignity Health Sports Park, the future venue for rugby sevens at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
