Durban, South Africa – The International Longevity Summit is set to take place from 10–11 September 2025 at the Sibaya Hotel and Casino in Durban. Organized by TAFFD’s (Transdisciplinary Agora for Future Discussions) and its non-profit subsidiary Afrolongevity, with support from South African Tourism and the KZN Tourism and Film Authority, the summit marks the 4th edition of the global gathering.

This year’s theme, “Future-Proofing Health: Africa’s Role in the Global Longevity Revolution,” focuses on positioning Africa as a key player in advancing health and longevity science. The event will bring together 200–300 researchers, clinicians, policymakers, investors, and thought leaders from around the world.

The summit aims to explore solutions to Africa’s life expectancy challenges, the biological causes of aging, and the continent’s unique opportunities in trade, wellness, and technology.

Key topics to be addressed include:

• Longevity research and innovation

• Preventative, regenerative, and rejuvenation medicine

• Nutrition and healthy supplementation

• Longevity investment, policy, and diplomacy

• Medical tourism and cutting-edge wellness solutions

• AI, blockchain, and distributed economy for longevity

The program will feature keynote addresses, paper presentations, panel discussions, and a masterclass on practical approaches to longevity.

Organizers emphasize that longevity science is a transdisciplinary field, requiring collaboration from academia, the private sector, and policymakers. The summit also highlights the importance of biodiversity and indigenous knowledge in shaping Africa’s contribution to global health solutions.
