Kabza De Small has been accused of deceiving his loyal fans by failing to show up at a scheduled event, leaving attendees disappointed and angry.

Real name Kabelo Motha, Kabza failed to honour jis booking at Owners Office in Durban on Sunday where he was scheduled to perform.

Instead, Kabza penned a letter through his representative Lawk Communications that unforeseen circumstamces were the reason he did not make it.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances out of my control I was unable to perform at Owners Office, Durban, scheduled for the 8th of March 2026.

“I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to the event organizers, their sponsors and to my supporters and truly appreciate your understanding.

We are committed to working with the promoters to find a suitable alternative date for my performances. I hope to see you all soon!,” he wrote.

I wanna thank Big Zulu for such a huge opportunity and believing in me and also in nurturing and building this brand and also his team but now i have to venture in my own journey and embrace new opportunities thank you.”

Inkabi Records is owned by rapper Big Zulu and it houses award winning artists like Zulu himself, Lwah Ndlunkulu, Stallion, Siya Ntuli, Star Healer, Fanatic and Mduduzi Mncube.

Inkabi Records announced Musiholiq late last year he was part of the family but the company is not getting him gigs and it sidelined him in their school tours.

MDNtv News can confirm that the relationship between Musiholiq has gone South.

“You cannot announce someone as your artist and you don’t do anything for the singer. He doesn’t know whether he is coming or going. They have stopped taking his calls and they are continuing with their business and not involving in anything from the company. All Inkabi Records are not taking his calls and he has decided to focus more to his company and his artists,” the first source said.

Another source said that Inkabi Records management last spoke to Musiholiq whose real name is Ncazelo Mtolo from Umlazi in Durban in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) in December.

“They stopped communicating with him. The guy is stressed but at least his company First Class Entertainment is doing very well. He signed Naledi Aphiwe and Okwanda and they are doing very. They were jealous of him and opted to sign him to destroy his talent. They are doong the thing with Mduduzi Ncube after he discovered Fanatic. They have decided to sign so that he cannot be bigger than Stallion production wise. They fear competition,” the source.

The third source said:

“The working relationship was not working between the two parties and he has moved back to his stable called First Class Entertainment. He must focus on his artist and continue releasing music under his company. They have stopped posting anything related to his career.”

When Musiholiq was contacted he did not confirm or deny the allegations.

“I don’t what’s happening my brother. You contact them at Inkabi Records. They will explain better, they are best people to speak. I’m in the dark and things are not happening so I have my own company and artists so I think I have to focus on growing,” he said.

Inkabi Records Manager Will Dlamini failed to respond to the queries that were sent to him. Big Zulu was sent questions but did not respond.

The video stands as a statement of intent, extending the emotional weight of the song into a powerful visual declaration, reminding the world that his journey is far from finished and that he is entering this next chapter on his own terms.

Real name David Ngcobo from Durban in KwaZulu Natal (KZN), Nasty C saud the collaboration feels intentional and sincere, with both worlds meeting in a way that honours their respective legacies while creating something entirely new.

He said the video leans into the emotional and spiritual core of the song, placing resilience, faith and self belief at the center of the narrative.

The presence of the Soweto Gospel Choir elevates the song and its visual world into something deeply resonant.

Their voices bring warmth, reverence and power, grounding the message in a distinctly African spiritual tradition that speaks across generations and borders.

“Head Up was a fusion of rhythm and rhyme, where the soulful chants of the Soweto Gospel Choir blended beautifully with the dynamic flow of one of the greatest world class rappers to come out of South Africa. It was a celebration of diversity and unity, creating a powerful, meaningful and uplifting song that resonated with the hearts of all who performed and listened. It is a blessing to be part of such greatness,” read a statement from the Soweto Gospel Choir

For Nasty C, Head Up has always carried deep personal meaning.

He said the song was created over several years, shaped by moments of uncertainty, growth and renewal, allowing it to mature alongside him.

Speaking on the track, he reflects on its role in his life and career.

“Head Up is a very special song to me. It is a motivational song, one that picks me up whenever I hit a low. I made it during a time where I needed reminding that my journey is my own, that my vision matters, and that my time will come when it is meant to. Bringing it to life now, especially with the Soweto Gospel Choir, feels like everything aligning at the right moment,” he said.

The Head Up 2.0 music video captures this sentiment with quiet confidence and emotional depth.

“It is not driven by excess or spectacle, but by presence and purpose, allowing the message to breathe. In doing so, it reinforces my position as an artist who continues to evolve without losing sight of who I am or where I come from,” he said.
