Brown Mogotsi endured a full day of relentless interrogation at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry — and the pressure showed.
From disputed dates of birth to contradictions in his affidavit, the political fixer was grilled over multiple inconsistencies and ultimately conceded that some of his statements were untruthful or based on hearsay.

At one point, Mogotsi told the chairpersons he felt “suppressed” by the line of questioning, prompting an explosive exchange with co-chairperson Advocate Sandile Khumalo.

He is set to return on a date still to be announced, while the commission continues with fresh testimony next week.
