The African National Congress hosted its Freedom Charter Night as part of the 5th National General Council, taking place from 8 to 11 December 2025 in Gauteng.

ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa delivered the keynote address, reflecting on the Freedom Charter, the movementโ€™s renewal agenda, organisational discipline, economic transformation and the role of branches ahead of the 2027 elective conference.
