It is alleged that the man was with his companions at the time of the incident.
Limpopo Police spokesperson, Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba said it is reported that police were alerted about a shooting incident and rushed to the crime scene.
“Upon arrival they found the victim laying on the floor with multiple gunshots on the body. The members of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were summoned and the male victim was certified dead upon their arrival at the scene.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that two unknown male suspects entered the shop armed with a firearm and shot the deceased without saying a word. Afterward, the duo fled the scene, driving a white Ford Fiesta motor vehicle with an unknown Gauteng registration number,” said Mashaba.
Mashaba said the motive of the incident is not known at this stage.
“A manhunt of the two male suspects is ongoing and police request anyone with information that can lead to their apprehension to contact the Investigating Officer, Sergeant Delton Makhubele on 083 357 3896, CrimeStop number 08600 10111, nearest police station or MySAPSApp,” said Mashaba.

]]>They face charges of attempted Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Fraud and Attempt to defeat the Ends of Justice, related to an alleged plot against TV actress Tebogo Thobejane. The duo, along with co-accused Musa Kekana (35) and Tiego Floyd Mabusela (47), who also face charges of Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder, are scheduled to appear in the High Court on 11 July 2025, for indictment.
The court postponed the bail application after the State presented new information and the defence requested time to prepare. The accused remain in custody, pending the outcome of their bail application.
