Media Statement SASOLBURG – A 30-year-old suspect has been arrested for possession of suspected stolen property in Sasolburg. On Thursday, 13 March 2025, at approximately 01:00, the Fezile Dabi District Infrastructure Task Team and Highway Patrol provided backup to a local security company in the Wonderfontein area, Sasolburg. Upon arrival, they discovered an abandoned Nissan NP200 loaded with stolen property. The three suspects fled the scene on foot into the veld. The police gave chase and managed to apprehend one of the suspects near a truck filling station in Wonderfontein. The vehicle and stolen property were confiscated. The suspect will appear before the Sasolburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 17 March 2025. Ends
