Media Statement WESTERN CAPE – Continued interventions to stop the distribution of drugs throughout the Western Cape yielded success today, 27 February 2025 in Vanrhynsdorp. Members of Organized Crime Investigation, Vanrhynsdorp SAPS and Namaqualand K9 Unit executed a search warrant at a premises in Kokerboom Street, Vanrhynsdorp and found 3155 mandrax tablets hidden in the house. The members obtained a search warrant after they received information about drugs that are stored at the premises. The estimated street value of the drug is R155 750. A 29-year-old man was arrested for the possession of mandrax tablet and will appear in the Vanrhynsdorp Magistrates’ tomorrow, Friday, 28 February 2025. Ends
