8 November 2024 – South Africa will have two representatives at the CAF Women’s Champions League in Morocco this weekend and will also be the only country with two representatives at the continental club competition.
Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns and the University of the Western Cape (UWC) will fly the country’s flag and the region’s when the tournament gets underway from 09 – 23 November. UWC open their account against TP Mazembe on Saturday while Sundowns face Masar on Sunday.
