Media Statement LUSIKISIKI – In a space of just a day, a Polo Vivo that was allegedly hijacked in KwaZulu Natal, was recovered in Lusikisiki. Another alleged stolen vehicle was also recovered yesterday 23 April 2024 whilst OR Tambo District Task Team were conducting stop and search around the CBD. The Daihatsu bakkie was spotted and searched in the CBD and upon investigation members established that the vehicle was reported stolen at Midrand in Gauteng Province. A 36-year-old male from Gqeberha was arrested and is appearing today at Lusikisiki Magistrate’s Court on a charge of possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle. Ends
