Springbok coach Jacques Nienaber has handed Warrick Gelant a begin on the best wing and recalled scrumhalf Faf de Klerk in the one two changes to his beginning team for his or her Rugby Championship tour match towards Australia in Adelaide on Saturday.

Of the choice to swap from a six-two to a five-three split on the bench, Nienaber stated that they had checked out what Australia convey to the sport.

These changes obviously mean that Willie, Jasper and Herschel lose out, but we know what we have in them and what they bring to the team.”
