Singer Mawhoo Reclaims the Human Element of Music with ‘Secret Garden’ Experience in Durban
Acclaimed South African Vocalist Mawhoo is set to bring her signature Secret Garden experience to Durban for the very first time.
The highly anticipated event, scheduled for Saturday, 28 November 2026, promises a full-day celebration that seamlessly blends music, culture, fashion, food, and premium live entertainment.
The upcoming Durban edition was recently previewed at an exclusive media evening at Maison in Durban.
The preview brought together prominent members of the media, creative minds, and close friends and family of the artist.
Hosted by Zisto from East Coast Radio, the intimate evening offered guests a first glimpse into the atmospheric and creative direction behind the November experience.
Notable attendees included Mawhoo’s mother, Nkosana Daughter, Orchid Musiq, and Maison owner Benny Maverick.
At the heart of the “Secret Garden” concept is Mawhoo’s deep-seated desire to foster a more direct, intimate relationship between the artist and the audience.

“Even though AI exists and technology is changing the way we experience music, I still want my community to hear my voice and experience me authentically,” Mawhoo shared during the media evening.

Moving away from traditional, stage-centered concert formats, Secret Garden is designed as a comprehensive lifestyle experience.
