The long running Senzo Meyiwa murder trial continues today at the Pretoria High Court.
Defence witness Sifiso Zungu, also known as Gwabini, has returned to the witness stand.
Last year, the defence objected to the state cross examining him on his prior statement. However, presiding judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng has now ruled that the prosecution may proceed with cross examination.
This ruling marks a significant development in one of South Africa’s most closely watched murder trials.
