Media Statement BRONVILLE – Members of Bronville Social Crime Prevention, Warrant Officers Wangra and Moganedi conducted a community outreach programme in Aurora Street Bronville after five shack houses burnt down last week. Members of Matjhabeng Disaster Unit were also part of this Samaritan act to give back to these affected families. The church leaders, led by Apostle Gert Visagie, also formed part of the outreach. The Acting Visible Policing Commander of Bronville, Warrant Officer Wangra thanked all who took part in this event to help those affected by the disaster. Food hampers and clothing were handed out to the family members. This gesture shows that SAPS members are not just there to arrest only but take into consideration the needs of the community, they serve and protect. Reverend Gert Visagie was given an opportunity to pray for Matjhabeng Disaster Unit, Bronville SAPS and families affected by the disaster. Ends
