POLOKWANE – The Police in Ritavi are pleading with the members of the community to assist with information that can lead to the apprehension of a 28-year-old male suspect responsible for the murder of a male victim. It is reported that on Saturday, 08 March 2025 Willy Khosa was causing trouble at a local tavern in Khujwana village. A 40-ear-old male victim working as a Security Officer at the premises approached him and attempted to call him to order. Unexpectedly, the 28-year-old male became violent and stabbed the victim on the upper body with a sharp object and immediately fled the scene on foot. The victim tried to drive himself to a local hospital but his motor vehicle suddenly stopped a few meters from the tavern. The members of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were summoned at the scene and the 40-year-old male was declared dead on their arrival. The deceased, Winter Sekgobela was identified at the scene and a massive manhunt of the suspect has since been intensified.
