Red Meat Producers Organisation (RPO) Awards SAPS Stock Theft and Endangered Species (STESU) members for outstanding work

NORTHERN CAPE – Red Meat Producers Organisation (RPO) Northern Cape hosted the 2024 Congress and Conference at the Flamingo Casino in Kimberley from 5 to 6 June 2024.

The event, supported by Agri Northern Cape, was also attended by the Northern Cape Provincial Commisioner, Lieutenant General Koliswa Otola.

Sgt Jannie Barend of Calvinia STESU was awarded the best Investigating Officer award.

Calvinia STESU received the prize for the best Stock Theft and Endangered Species unit in the Northern Cape.

The members were recognized  for their outstanding performance in curbing stock theft and endangered species related crimes in the province.
