Media Statement KIMBERLEY – Public Order Police together with Crime Intelligence, executed search and seizure operations in Galeshewe on Monday, 16 December 2024, resulting in two arrests and the seizure of dagga with an estimated value of R14 544. A search warrant was issued, and a premises was searched in the Kanana area. A 42-year-old woman was arrested when dagga with an estimated value of R6 044-00 was found in an old fridge. A second premises was searched in Galeshewe, and a 67-year-old man was caught in the act busy packing dagga into parcels. He was arrested and dagga with an estimated value of R8 500-00 was confiscated. Cash believed to be proceeds of the commission of a crime and a scale were also confiscated. Drug related crimes remain a priority and will be rigorously policed.
