The main purposed would be to ensure that Community Policing would be improved and to enhance optimal functionality. The vehicles were presented to the CPF representatives in the presence of the Northern Cape Provincial CPF Board Chairperson, Mr Tebogo Molapo, his executive members and district CPF representatives. The presentation was held at the Kimberley Police Station on Friday, 14 March 2025. This initiative is in support of the 2030 Vision that seeks to root out all causes of crime, leading to a stage where people living in South Africa will feel safe and have no fear of crime. While handing over the keys of the brand new vehicles, the Provincial Commissioner reminded the office bearers of the CPF forums that the vehicles are solely meant for service delivery and that they must assist the police officials in looking after them. She concluded by wishing them well in their journeys that they will embark upon, with these new valuable set of wheels. Ends
