Media Statement LIMPOPO – The Limpopo Division High court in Polokwane granted a preservation order for the farm and the vehicle Isuzu KB series to the estimated value of R3 263 500.00 on the 22 November 2024. The order emanated from the arrest of Roelf Botha, Simphiwe Khumalo, Gutierrez Lopez, and Gonzalez Jorge by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation on the 19 July 2024 following the discovery of a clandestine drug laboratory on Farm Thaba Monate Loskop portion no 201, where they were manufacturing drugs. The vehicle Isuzu was also seized by the police as the instrumentality of the manufacturing of illicit drugs offence. The Asset Forfeiture Investigation was tasked with the probe which was successfully finalised and referred to the National Prosecuting Authority’s Asset Forfeiture Unit for drafting of court order. The farm as well as the Isuzu bakkie for further drafting of a forfeiture order. Ends
