Media Statement POTCHEFSTROOM – The police in Potchefstroom request the community’s assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old Chailynn van Rensburg and her mother, Carmen Noble (41), residing in Jeugd Street, Potchefstroom. According to information received Chailynn’s father, who was working overseas, arrived back in Potchefstroom on Thursday, 21 March 2024, but could not find them. A search was conducted and extensive investigations were done, with no success. At the time of their disappearance it is unknown what they were wearing. The mother, Carmen Noble, is fair in complexion with blue eyes, a small built body, 1.62m in height with short black bob hair. The daughter, Chailynn van Rensburg, is fair in complexion with brown eyes, she wears spectacles, has a small built body, is 1.63m in height and have bob dark brown hair. Anyone who may have information regarding their whereabouts is requested to contact the Investigating Officer, Sergeant Dikeledi Mokoena or Captain Frans van Rensburg from Potchefstroom Detectives on 082 411 2571. Alternatively, you can phone your local police station or Crime Stop on 08600 10111. Anonymous tip-offs can also be communicated via the MySAPS App from any smart phone. Ends
