Police seek next of kin of unidentified body

PARYS – The Parys detectives are requesting assistance in the identification of a male body found in the veld near Parys Waterworks.

On Friday, 5 July 2024, at about 13:30, a passerby reported to the police about an unknown male in the veld. On arrival, the members noticed an unknown male aged between 52 and 60. the deceased was wearing a brown jacket, a dark shirt, and dark socks. The outcome of the postmortem determined that he died of natural causes. 

Anyone who has a missing family member or knows a person matching the description must please contact Detective Warrant Officer Rick Hunter on 073 648 9927.
