Media Statement GQEBERHA – SAPS Algoa Park detectives seek the community’s assistance in tracing a 41-year-old man who is missing since 28 October 2023. A missing person’s case was opened in February 2024. It is alleged that on the mentioned date, at about 13:00, Mfundo Sifile left his fiancé’s house in Tromp Street in Missionvale with his employer’s vehicle, a white Opel Kadett with a promise to return at 14:00. That was the last time anyone had seen him. Sifile worked as a jikeleza (taxi) driver. At the time he was wearing grey pants, black T-shirt and black takkies. The vehicle was found abandoned on the night of his disappearance in Kwadwesi. Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in tracing Sifile or may know anything about his disappearance to contact SAPS Algoa Park, Detective Constable Ashron Bergman on 067 082 5379 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or the nearest police station.
