Media Statement POLOKWANE – The Police in Mokopane, under Waterburg District are appealing to Petrus Jabulani Masingi to report to the nearest Police Station as we believe that his presence will imminently assist the Detectives to resolve a case of murder. This is after the incident in which a 54-year-old man was severely assaulted during November 2024 at about 22:00, whilst attending a family gathering in Extension 12, Mokopane. Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim was brought to the local hospital under the guise that he had fallen due to his condition. Further police investigations revealed that the victim succumbed to the multiple injuries he sustained. Thorough investigation then led to the arrest of three suspects, who had already appeared before court on 24 December 2024. Meanwhile, their accomplice, who is the fourth suspect, is still on the run. A manhunt for the remaining suspect has been intensified. The Police appeals to Petrus Jabulani Masingi pictured below to visit his nearest police station, as it is believed that he can assist the police to resolve this case.
