Media Statement WESTERN CAPE – A joint operation conducted by members attached to the Anti-Economic Crime Task Team, Provincial Counterfeit and Illicit Policing Team in Wynberg’s Main Road led to the arrest of a foreign national and the confiscation of drugs. On Wednesday 19 March 2025 at about 05:00, members conducted an search and seizure operation at Grand Central Flats during which they found 365 Boss mandrax tablets, 130g of tik, 20g cocaine, 100 ecstasy tablets and 9 medium crushed mandrax tablets. A 43-year-old foreign national who was found on the premises was arrested and detained at Wynberg SAPS for possession of drugs and dealing in drugs. He will make his first court appearance in the Wynberg Magistrates’ Court once charged. Ends
