POLOKWANE – The police in Mankweng are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder, after a 23-year-old male victim was fatally stabbed and another wounded at Mankweng Zone 1, in a Liquor Outlet during the early hours of Thursday, 02 May 2024. Reports suggest that the victims were involved in the fight that ensued in the Liquor Outlet. They were later found in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds. The police were summoned to the scene together with emergency medical personnel and both victims were transported to the hospital, where the 23-year-old man was certified dead upon arrival. The other victim aged 26 is still in a critical condition. The motive behind the incident is currently unknown, and further investigations will be determined. Police have opened a case of murder and attempted murder.
