Media Statement ODENDAALSRUS – The mother of Mbali Thandeka Maloka reported her daughter missing on 10 May 2024 at 15:30 after she went missing on 04 May 2024 at about 19:30. The mother reported that she was at home with her 16-year-old daughter and her little sister. She sent Mbali to fetch the laundry from the washing line at the back part of the yard and she went out with her little sister. The little one came inside the house alone and Mbali was still outside. The mother went to check on her and find Mbali still outside. According to the mother, Mbali walked towards the fence at the back part of the house and climbed over it and ran away from home. She never returned home since. The mother reported her as missing at Odendaalsrus Police Station. She is in Grade 10 at Eldoret Secondary School in Odendaalsrus and was last seen wearing a blue jean and white jersey. The following places were visited: taverns around Odendaalsrus CBD and taverns in Thabong, but all in vain.
