Police in the North West Province sensitize the community about a video circulating on social media platforms

POTCHEFSTROOM – Police in the Province would like to sensitise the community about a video that is circulating on social media platforms and titled “BLOEMFONTEIN CBD IS NO LONGER SAFE”.

Although the incident occurred in Bloemfontein and was confirmed by the relevant authorities, it has come to the attention of North West provincial police management that there are people who want to create the impression and spread misinformation that the incident occurred in Klerksdorp, which is not true.

Members of the community are requested to use social media responsibly and to work together with the police in the fight against crime irrespective of where it happens.
