Media Statement POLOKWANE – The community assistance led to five cattle, which had no brand marks, being impounded at Mokopane SPCA on 28 April 2024. Police urge owners of the seized livestock to urgently come forth and identify their livestock before the cattle can be forfeited to the state. A report indicates that the police were alerted by the community members about unidentified cattle that have been roaming around Hwibi village in Matlala policing area since November 2023.
The police are therefore calling upon community members who might have lost their cattle to come and identify their Live Stock at Mokopane SPCA or call Detective Sergeant Moloko Tebete of Polokwane Stock theft Unit on 076 481 4351 for assistance.
