Media Statement POLOKWANE – Police arrested three suspects aged between 26 and 31 for cases of business robbery and possession of unlicensed firearms on Friday, 06 September 2024, The incident took place at Patantswane village in Nebo policing area. This is after the suspects committed business robbery, and the police supported by the community chased the suspects and eventually managed to corner them. Police arrested three suspects and confiscated cash, one knife and three unlicensed firearms, and seven live ammunition. The Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has applauded the officers for the swift apprehension of the suspects following the commission of the robbery. “This arrest proves that working together can effectively bring, about change against criminal activities within our communities,” remarked Lieutenant General Hadebe. The suspects will appear before Nebo Magistrate’s Court soon.
