GQEBERHA – Police are seeking suspects who robbed a business place at Greenacres Shopping Centre this afternoon, 02 September 2024 at about 13:50. The manhunt follows after a group of about eight to ten male suspects entered at the Greenacres Shopping Centre and proceeded to a jewelry place, which they robbed of an undisclosed amount of jewelery. No persons were injured during the incident. According to the information, after they looted, they ran out of the centre and made their getaway in a brown/bronze Suzuki 7 seater vehicle and a silver Etios and are still at large No arrests have been made yet. A case of business robbery was opened by SAPS Mount Road and being investigated by the EC Provincial Organised Crime Investigation Unit.
