Media Statement POLOKWANE – The police are investigating business robbery incident that took place at one of the supermarkets in Namakgale Zone A, Namakgale policing area, in the Mopani District on Friday, 26 July 2024, at about 11:30. According to the information, the victim with his assistant were allegedly at the store busy serving customers when three African men entered the store two of them armed with firearms and pointed them. They then robbed them undisclosed amount of cash that was in the till, cigarettes, flash machine, and a Samsung A04 cellphone, and fled the scene. The total value of the robbed items is R8300.00. No shots were fired, and no one was injured during the incident. Police have opened a business robbery case, and an investigation is underway.
