This newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility in Ga-Phaudi village aims to improve service delivery for community members who previously had to travel long distances to access policing services at Seshego and Matlala. During the visit, the management engaged with personnel from support services, detectives, and visible policing, all of whom expressed their commitment to serving and protecting local communities. The station is led by Captain Tladi, an experienced officer who was previously stationed at Polokwane SAPS. Phaudi police station is equipped with resources such as vehicles amongst others to enhance service delivery. She urged the team to prioritize community engagement and collaboration as critical strategies in the fight against crime especially during the heightened festive season. Phaudi Police Station will offer various services, including certification, affidavits, handling complaints, and support through the Victim Empowerment Centre. It will serve thirty-six villages, twelve of which were previously under Seshego jurisdiction. The official opening date will be announced in due course. Ends
